Hosting A Spiritual Singles
Event
Hosting is a great way to meet people and experience interesting
programs, without ever stepping out of your home.
We are always looking for new hosts. We need hosts for parties
(which can range up to 100 people) and for regular events (which
usually range from 5 to 30 people). If you can't hold 30 people
but can only hold 15-20 (as most living rooms can), that is still
OK, since you can limit the number of people attending by having
them RSVP.
How it works:
To be considered to be a host, you send an e-mail to us giving your
first name (or a code if you prefer), location, number of people you
feel comfortable hosting and an e-mail address.
We then put your info on a list
on this website for event leaders to look at.
Not all event leaders need a host, but some do. When they need
a host for an event, they look at the list and e-mail a number of
potential hosts with their name, e-mail address and a title and
description of their event.
If you are willing/interested in hosting, you reply to the event
leader and make arrangements.
If you are interested in hosting,
- Send an e-mail to Spiritevents@yahoo.com
- Title the e-mail "Put me on Host List"
- Include in the body of the e-mail
- Name: Your first name, your initials or a code, such as
Host #1
- Location: The general location of your home or site (e.g.
Bethesda, MD or Falls Church, VA)
- Accommodation: The number of people you feel comfortable
having in your home (may be different for different types
of events)
- Contact: Your e-mail address (preferred) or your phone number
